Railroad Park

Railroad park is open 7 am to 11 pm, 7 days per week. There is no cost for park entrance. Participants may choose to walk, jog or bike the 3/4 mile loop around the park. Or join one of the free fitness classes at 6:00 PM Monday - Friday. There is also outdoor gym equipment and two play areas for children with modern playground equipment and climbing dome.

Howard Lake

Howard Lake is located at 300 Municipal Lane on 8 acres of scenic woodlands near to Highway 31 and I-459. This park has a three-acre lake, lighted track, playground, pavilion, parking. The Howard Lakehouse can be reserved for civic and social events.

Star Lake

Star Lake is located on five acres next the Hoover Country Club. It features a three-acre lake including shaded picnic areas with tables, a pier and a walking/ jogging track around the lake's perimeter. Take friends or family for a picnic this spring or fall!

Veteran’s Park

Veterans Park is the newest and largest Hoover park. It features a professionally developed 5K cross-country course for walking and jogging and is host each year to the Great American Cross Country Race. The park also hosts such annual events as Hoover's own Pet-a-Palooza and Movies in the Park.

Georgetown Lake Park

Georgetown Lake Park is an 8-acre park located in Hoover, AL. This park has a lake, track, playground, and two gazebos for your enjoyment.

Bluff Park Community

Hoover East Sports Park

Hoover East Park is a 160 acre park with softball, baseball, soccer, and football fields. There is also a gazebo and playgrounds.

Russet Woods Park

Russett Woods Parks is located on 1.3 acres in Hoover, AL.  This park is a neighborhood park with a small playground.

Wildflower Park (Riverchase)

Wildflower Park is located on 14 acres in Hoover, AL. The park includes a playground, athletic field, gazebo, outdoor basketball court and restrooms.  Take a walk on the track that runs through the park (5 laps = 1 mile).

Inverness Park

Trace Crossing is a 3-acre park with two lighted softball/baseball fields. Located in Hoover on 5454 Learning Lane.

Sertoma Park
